2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD
Recalls and owner complaints reported to NHTSA
Compared with the typical (middle) count of 178 complaints across the 8 model-year 2015 heavy-duty trucks we cover. Best-selling trucks naturally collect more complaints because more of them are on the road.
What owners should know
Covers 2015–2019 · 6.6L Duramax diesel (LML 2015–2016, L5P 2017–2019) and 6.0L V8 gas · Updated 2026-10-01
The Chevy Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD are mechanically the same trucks, so these notes cover both, in 2500HD and 3500HD. The diesel changed partway through: the Duramax LML in 2015–2016, and the redesigned Duramax L5P in 2017–2019. Gas trucks use the 6.0L V8.
We counted 1,326 owner complaints filed with NHTSA for 2015–2019 Silverado HDs and Sierra HDs: 413 from LML diesels, 311 from L5P diesels and 512 from gas trucks (identified by VIN). Complaint counts show what owners report most often, not how many trucks have a problem.
At a glance
- 2015–2016 diesels (LML) carry the high-pressure fuel pump (CP4.2) risk.
- 2017–2019 diesels (L5P) use a different fuel pump and have far fewer fuel pump complaints. Block heater cord recalls address a fire risk.
- Brake pedal recall on 2015–2016 trucks: the pedal can come loose.
- Trailer brake warnings are frequently reported.
- Gas trucks: the transmission is the most common complaint (about 1 in 5).
2015–2016 Duramax LML: fuel pump
Fuel pump problems come up in 61 of 413 LML complaints, about 3 times the rate of the 2017–2019 L5P (16 of 311). The LML uses the Bosch CP4.2 pump. When it fails, metal can contaminate the whole fuel system, and repair sources report bills of $8,000 to $15,000. There was no recall.
When buying a 2015–2016 diesel: ask whether the pump was replaced or upgraded, and for fuel filter records.
2017–2019 Duramax L5P
Generally well regarded. Commonly reported repairs include DEF tank sensors, the MAP sensor, plastic intercooler pipes, and the #4 fuel injector connector (GM bulletin 23-NA-027). Fire comes up in 30 L5P complaints. GM recalled 2017–2019 diesels because the engine block heater cord can short and overheat (recalls 19V328000 and 21V496000). Confirm both are done.
Brakes and trailer brakes
- GM recalled 2015–2016 trucks because the brake pedal pivot nut can loosen, making the pedal loose or inoperative (recalls 16V069000 and 18V578000).
- Owners frequently report "Service trailer brake system" warnings that can cut the trailer brakes while towing. If you tow, test the trailer brake controller with a trailer connected.
Gas trucks
The 6.0L engine is simple and long-lived. Transmission complaints are the top topic on gas trucks (99 of 512). Test-drive for harsh or slipping shifts.
Other recalls
- Dual fuel tank sensors and a rear tank that can collapse on some diesels (recalls 19V088000 and 23V047000)
- Front seat belt retractors on 2017–2018 trucks (recall 17V567000)
- Several airbag recalls, including roof-rail and side curtain inflators
Before you buy
- Check open recalls at nhtsa.gov/recalls with the VIN.
- Get a pre-purchase inspection from a diesel shop for a Duramax.
- Bring our used truck inspection checklist.

2015–2016 Duramax fuel pump (CP4) failure
Best left to a shopSigns: Sudden stalling or no-start, low fuel pressure codes such as P0087.
Fix: Prevention: change the fuel filter on schedule and buy fuel from busy stations. Some owners replace the CP4 with a different pump design as prevention. A failed pump usually means a full fuel system replacement at a diesel shop.
Loose brake pedal (2015–2016)
Dealer (recall)Signs: The brake pedal feels loose or doesn't work right.
Fix: Covered by GM recalls for the brake pedal pivot nut.
May be covered free by recall 16V069000 / 18V578000. Check the VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
Block heater cord fire risk (2017–2019 diesels)
Dealer (recall)Signs: A burnt or melted block heater cord or plug.
Fix: Covered by GM recalls. Don't use the block heater until it's checked.
May be covered free by recall 19V328000 / 21V496000. Check the VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls.
'Service trailer brake system' warning
Easy DIYSigns: Trailer brake warnings that cut the trailer brakes while towing.
Fix: Start with the simple things: clean and inspect the 7-pin trailer connector and the trailer's wiring. If it continues, have a dealer check the trailer brake module.
L5P cracked intercooler pipe
Easy DIYSigns: A loud pop, then low power and limp mode.
Fix: Replace the plastic charge pipe. Many owners upgrade to a metal pipe.

Jul 2021 · #21V504000General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 GMC Sierra 1500, 2500, 3500, and Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. The roof-rail air bag (RRAB) inflator end cap may detach from the inflator, or the inflator sidewall may rupture.
Risk and fix
Risk: A separated inflator end cap or inflator rupture can allow compressed gas to escape, resulting in the end cap or other components being propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the left and right side RRAB modules, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters informing owners of the safety risk were mailed on August 18, 2021. Owners will receive a second notice when the remedy is available. Phase I owner notification letters were mailed on May 5, 2022. Risk and fix
Risk: If the end cap separates from the inflator, the compressed gas will escape and the end cap can be propelled into the vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the RRAB modules on the left and/or right side, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters were mailed on December 22, 2020. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-888-988-7267 or Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. Note: GM filed a new recall, number 21V-504 that supersedes this recall. Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Pedals And Linkages
Aug 2018 · #18V578000General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2015-2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, 3500, 1500 Crew Cab Special Service, Tahoe Police Pursuit/Special Service, GMC Sierra 2500, and 3500 vehicles. The brake pedal pivot nut may loosen, causing the brake pedal to be loose or inoperative.
Risk and fix
Risk: If the brake pedal becomes loose or inoperative, the driver may be unable to stop the vehicle by using the brake pedal. Additionally, a loose pedal may also interfere with the accelerator pedal. Either condition may increase the risk of a crash.
Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will add adhesive to the nut and reinstall the nut with increased tightness, free of charge. The recall began October 3, 2018. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020, or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 18278. Fuel System, Gasoline:Storage:Auxillary Tank
Oct 2017 · #17V664000General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2011-2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 and GMC Sierra 3500 trucks equipped with dual fuel tanks. The low fuel level sensor for the front tank may stick causing the rear tank to overfill the front tank.
Risk and fix
Risk: If the front tank overfills, the excess pressure may cause the front tank to expand and contact the driveshaft, possibly resulting in a hole in the tank. The hole will leak fuel, which in the presence of an ignition source, can increase the risk of a fire.
Fix: GM has notified owners, and dealers will replace the rear tank fuel pump or update the fuel-level sensor software, as well as inspect the front tank, replacing it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began December 11, 2017. Owners may contact GM customer service for Chevrolet 1-800-222-1020 or for GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 17399.

Risk and fix
Risk: A failure of the front air bags or seat belt pretensioners to deploy in the event of a crash necessitating deployment increases the risk of injury to the driver and front passenger.
Fix: GM will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the SDM software. Vehicles that have had a previous air bag deployment will have the SDM replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on August 4, 2017. There are several problems I’ve noticed some I fix myself! First of all, I was driving my truck at night on the country road and all of a sudden it starts losing power shut down on me on a little road with no pull over spots in Kentucky and just dies completely. My service charging system light came on. I worked on this forever. I noticed it. All of my grounds were completely nasty and pretty much not making contact. I fix the ones that I can find only two I know there’s more, I’ve changed the generator three times and the battery once, the problem happened again and again and again the only way I can stop my truck from dying is when that light come on if I got out and I took the negative wire off of my battery and then put it back on it would run again for about another three days and then if I didn’t see it, I’m stranded very dangerous. Finally I took it to my mechanic up the road and he basically did the same things. I did something about a door switch also though not another battery another generator and he added new battery cables so far it hasn’t done it again. Now my truck when starting to slow down, it will vibrate and shake you to death. You hit a little vibration in the road say a rumble strip. This thing will shake you through the roof in about make you run into another Vehicle , also, it’s hard to fill up the gas if you have to turn the gas nozzle almost straight up and down if you’re low on gas to make it except it or you’ll be sitting there for 30 minutes putting gas in your truck. I have put in the past two years at least have the change the brakes, calipers rotors and all twice a year sometimes three times a year. The brake pedal pivot bolt nut loosened itself and came off of the bolt, allowing the bolt to back out of the pedal mount and the brake pedal fell out of position and became lodged behind the accelerator pedal. Thankfully no accident occurred. After performing research with local dealer and independent repair shop it was found to be an obvious repeat failure of the General Motors safety recall #20760E already performed on the vehicle. I reached out to GM customer support who were rude and I received no help in the matter. Can provide more information upon request.

AFTER THIS I PARKED IT SEVERAL MORE TIMES IN THE SAME SPOT AND IT CONTINUED TO ROLL BACKWARDS WHILE IN PARK. I THEN TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY DEALERSHIP AND EXPLAINED THE ISSUE AND SHOWED THEM A VIDEO OF ME TESTING IT. THEY LATER INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS A KNOWN PROGRAMMING ISSUE AND THEY REPROGRAMMED THE TRANSMISSION AND IT SHOULD WORK NOW. THE TRANSMISSION CAN COME OUT OF PARK EVEN WHEN NOT RUNNING. WHEN I ASKED WHY I WAS NOT INFORMED OF SUCH A RECALL THE INFORMED ME THAT IT WAS NOT AN ISSUE THEY WERE CALLING CUSTOMERS ABOUT RATHER THEY WERE JUST FIXING VEHICLES AS THEY CAME IN REPORTING THE ISSUE. I LIVE 3 BLOCKS FROM A MIDDLE SCHOOL AND AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT THERE IS OFTEN CHILDREN WALKING DOWN MY STREET. THE VEHICLE COULD HAVE EASILY SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED SOMEONE YET CHEVY DID NOT CONSIDER THIS A LARGE ENOUGH SAFETY CONCERN TO INFORM OWNERS OF THESE VEHICLES.

BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE NEW FROM DEALER IN SEPT 2015 WITH THE DEALER INSTALLED FLATBED ALREADY ON IT, ON THEIR DEALERSHIP LOT. FUEL MILEAGE WAS POOR FROM THE FIRST, "ENGINE LIGHT ON" FROM THE FIRST; TRANSMISSION DRAGGING FROM THE FIRST DAY WE BOUGHT IT. SERVICE ADVISORS AND THE SALESMAN SAID DRIVE IT AND IT WILL CLEAR OUT. IT GOT WORSE. THE DEALERSHIP FINALLY SENT IT TO THE COMPANY WHO INSTALLED THE FLATBED FOR THEM, AND THEY SAID THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL SHORT IN THE FUEL PUMP WHICH THEY REPLACED. THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION DID NOT SHIFT SMOOTHLY WHEN WE GOT IT BACK, AND THE DEALERSHIP SAID "IT PERFORMS AS DESIGNED". BUT, THIS IS AN AUTOMATIC 6 SPEED CHEVROLET TRANSMISSION IN A 2015 CHEVROLET 3500 SILVERADO WITH A 6.0 GASOLINE ENGINE. THE TRANSMISSION DRAGS FROM 5TH GEAR AND THEN DRAGS IN 6TH GEAR. I HAVE TO LET OFF THE GAS PEDAL FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO SHIFT. IF I LET IT DRAG OUT, IT USES FUEL AND SOUNDS LIKE I AM STUCK IN GEAR. WE HAVE TAKEN IT TO 3 DIFFERENT CHEVROLET DEALERSHIPS, AND THEY SAY SOMETHING IS WRONG BUT WE CAN'T TAKE IT APART TO FIX IT. THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID FOR ME TO DRIVE IT UNTIL THE TRANSMISSION "BLOWS UP BECAUSE IT IS UNDER WARRANTY". I TOOK IT TO A RELIABLE TRANSMISSION SHOP, BUT THEY WON'T TOUCH IT BECAUSE IT IS UNDER WARRANTY, BUT THEY SAID THAT THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG THAT IT DOES NOT SHIFT SMOOTHLY INTO ALL 6 GEARS. IT ONLY HAS 3600 MILES. WE HAVE TO DRIVE IT ONCE A WEEK TO KEEP THE BATTERY CHARGED. I DON'T PULL OR HAUL ANYTHING WITH IT. THIS IS HAPPENING BOTH IN CITY DRIVING AND HIGHWAY DRIVING.

HAD BEEN COMPLAINING SINCE 2 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE THAT TRANSMISSION WAS SHAKING/SHIMMYING/SPUTTERING. WAS PULLING ONTO A COUNTY HIGHWAY OFF OF A RESIDENTIAL TYPE ROAD (AFTER PICKING UP GRANDDAUGHTER FROM SCHOOL - SHE WAS IN TRUCK) AND TRUCK BOGGED DOWN & WOULDN'T GO. INTERSECTION IS AT TOP OF HILL AND AROUND A CORNER. WAS CLEAR WHEN I STARTED PULLING OUT, BUT WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRUCK BEFORE I GOT MY TRUCK TO GET ON ACROSS THE INTERSECTION. HAS BEEN IN SHOP TWICE TO FIX IT. FIRST TIME TO DOUBLE TRANSMISSION FLUSH. THAT DIDN'T WORK. NEXT TIME A FEW WEEKS LATER, A TECHNICIAN HOOKED UP A COMPUTER TO MY TRUCK SO HE COULD MANUALLY SHIFT GEARS WHILE RIDING WITH ME. HE FELT THE ISSUES AND SAID HE SAW SEVERAL PROBLEMS. DEALERSHIP ENDED UP REPLACING TORQUE CONVERTER. ALSO REPLACED VLOM MANIFOLD - WHATEVER THAT IS? THAT'S WHAT IT SAYS ON WORK ORDER. THE PROBLEM STILL EXISTS. I BELIEVE THERE ARE BULLETINS OUT ON THIS TRUCK'S TRANSMISSION ALREADY. I HAVE TALKED TO OTHERS WHO HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM.

I own a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Duramax diesel. At approximately 130,000 miles, the high-pressure CP4 fuel pump failed internally, sending metal shavings throughout the fuel system and contaminating major components. The truck suddenly lost power on the freeway and became inoperable without warning. I was barely able to get out of traffic before it had to be towed to a Chevrolet dealership. This created a serious safety hazard, especially considering the risk if it had happened while towing my fifth wheel with my family. A failure like this should not happen at this mileage on a heavy-duty diesel truck. I also cannot afford the extremely high cost of repairing the entire fuel system. From my research, many other owners have experienced the same CP4 fuel pump failure, which often destroys the entire fuel system and leads to very expensive repairs. I believe this is a widespread defect, not normal wear and tear. I ask NHTSA to review these failures and take action to protect vehicle owners from similar dangerous and costly failures. This truck currently sits at the dealership as I cannot afford the repairs and GM will not fix what they know is faulty parts.

Truck was operating on the highway at highway speed. Suddenly the truck went into a drastic engine power reduction mode and severe automatic downshifting occurred; the truck came to a complete stop on the highway. Diagnostics proved to be a CP4 injector pump failure sending metal into the fuel system, needing a complete contamination kit and new CP3 pump conversion. This apparently is a known defect in GM vehicles and should have been recalled.

CP4 fuel pump failed while driving 250 miles from home. It was towed in and diagnosed, resulting in over $12,000.00 Dollars to replace fuel system due to metal pumped into fuel system. The mechanic sent the pump back as a core charge. We were stranded and freezing with our dog and towed in after several hours. The only warning was the vehicle was reducing power and I was able to get off the highway.

THE MOUNTS, BOTH DAMAGED, WERE ALL THAT WERE LEFT. THE CAMPER SIDE WAS ALSO SLIGHTLY CRACKED ON ONE CORNER AND BULGED ON THE OTHER. IT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE. LANCE HAS REPLIED TO MY COMPLAINT STATING IT WAS NOT A WARRANTY ITEM ANY MORE SO CLAIMED THEY HAD NO LIABILITY. MY CONCERN IS THAT THIS SHOULD NEVER HAVE HAPPENED AND I COULD HAVE HURT SOMEONE. THE AWNING IS MADE BY CAREFREE OF COLORADO FOR LANCE. I WANTED TO HAVE THIS RECORDED BECAUSE I HAVE HEARD OF ANECDOTAL INFORMATION OF OTHER SLIDE AWNINGS UNFURLING AND/OR COMING OFF SOME CAMPERS.

GM SAID THERE IS NOTHING IN THE OWNERS MANUAL ABOUT IT , AND ENGINEERING THINKS THAT IT HAPPENS WHEN I TOUCH A BUTTON ON THE INSTURMENT PANEL WHEN DRIVING. BUT IT HAPPENS TO APPEAR WHEN IM DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY AND HAVE NOT TOUCHED ANY CONTROL BUTTON. , THIS IS A SERIOUS DISTRACTION. SINCE I CANNOT DUPLICATE IT BECAUSE IT HAPPENS AT RANDOM, WHEN IT DOES OCCUR AGAIN I WILL TAKE A PICTURE OF IT. I HAVE A 2015 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 2500 HD LTZ MODEL. THIS VEHICLE HAS PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS FOR THE LOW BEAM THAT AVE VERY INADEQUATE WHEN TRYING TO SEE IN DARK NIGHTS. THE LIGHT OUTPUT IS VERY DIM AND THE CUTOFF PATTERN IS LOW CAUSING POOR VISIBILITY TO ALMOST ZERO VISIBILITY ON WET ROADS OR DURING RAIN. USING THE FOG LIGHTS DOES HELP, BUT ALSO CAUSES ONCOMING DRIVERS TO FLASH YOU DUE TO EXTRA LIGHTS TURNED ON. I AM REALLY SHOCKED AS I HAVE ANOTHER VEHICLE WITH HID PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS AND THEY ARE FRIENDLY TO ONCOMING DRIVERS AS THEY ARE BRIGHT BUT THE LIGHTING PATTERN IS LOW. THE CHEVROLET IS NOT AN HID LIGHT AND IT IS NOT BRIGHT ENOUGH FOR THE PROJECTOR PATTERN. THIS IS OF GREAT CONCERN DUE TO THE LACK OF VISIBILITY WHEN DRIVING AT NIGHT. SECOND ISSUE - TURN SIGNALS AS VIEWED FROM THE VEHICLE COMING STRAIGHT ON. I HAVE NOTICED LOOKING AT OTHER CHEVROLET SILVERADO'S THAT WHEN VIEWING THE TRUCK FROM THE FRONT, YOU CAN NOT SEE IF THE TURN SIGNALS ARE ON. DUE TO CHROME ON THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND THE HEADLIGHT - DRL - YOU CAN NOT SEE THE BLINKING TURN SIGNAL FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. SO, SOMEONE COULD EASILY TURN IN FRONT OF OR NOT SEE THE TRUCK IS TURNING DUE TO THE INABILITY TO SEE THE TURN SIGNAL FROM THE FRONT.

The mechanic performed a diagnostic test, and the contact was informed that the fuel pump had disintegrated which caused debris from the fuel pump to leak into the fuel system. The contact was provided an estimate to replace the fuel pump, fuel pump filter, fuel pump housing, and the fuel injectors. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NTHSA Hotline to file a complaint. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 270,000.

WE WERE TRAVELING ON I-465 OR I-90 OUTSIDE OF INDIANAPOLIS WITH OUR 2016 LANCE CAMPER MODEL 995 ON OUR 2015 SILVERADO 3500HD. WE STOPPED AT A REST AREA ON I-90 AND FOUND THE AWNING AND AWNING ROLLER FOR THE SLIDEOUT ON THE CAMPER HAD DISAPPEARED. I HAD BEEN DRIVING AT OR UNDER THE POSTED SPEED LIMITS WHEN THIS OCCURRED.

I noticed also all of my wheels are having rough spots on them everywhere and they are rusting into . Another thing that happens this truck eats breaks for breakfast. I have put in the past two years at least have the change the brakes, calipers rotors and all twice a year sometimes three times a year. Also, the trailer brake system light comes on nonstop along with a service stability track on when happen. No Wasey no cruise control. I am a masterelect. Maintain truck it ju

I WAS STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT AND STRUCK FROM BEHIND BY ANOTHER SMALLER VEHICLE PUSHING ME INTO A MINIVAN IN FRONT OF ME. ON INITIAL IMPACT, THE DRIVERS SEAT WAS DISLODGED FROM THE MOUNTING FRAME. WHEN I HIT THE MINIVAN IN FRONT OF ME, THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AND MY SHOULDER SEAT RESTRAINT DID NOT ENGAGE CAUSING MY EYE TO STRIKE THE STEERING WHEEL. I HAVE NERVE DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF THE SEAT BELT NOT ENGAGING AND THE AIRBAGS NOT DEPLOYING. THE VEHICLE SUSTAINED ENOUGH DAMAGE, INCLUDING FRAME DAMAGE, THAT IT WAS CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS. IT WAS 6 WEEKS OLD AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE ACCIDENT WHO REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. I BELIEVE THE SEAT MOUNTING FAILED, THE AIRBAGS FAILED TO PROPERLY DEPLOY AND THE SHOULDER RESTRAINT SIGNIFICANTLY FAILED. I HAVE PICTURES INDICATING THE SEATBELT FULLY EXTENDED, BUT DID NOT ENGAGE, AND WILL NO LONGER RETRACT. STATE FARM IS HOLDING THE VEHICLE PENDING A POSSIBLE INVESTIGATION BY NHTSA.

Cooper Discoverer STT Pro (LT295/55R20/10). Driving south bout on Meadowbrook State Parkway about 1/2 mile north of the Southern State Parkway in New York State (Long Island) when a catstrophic failure of the front right tire occurred without warning or provocation. Tires were about 18 months old and had about 25000 miles on them. All traffic was at extreme risk with the sudden blow out at highway speed. The tire failed in its entirety becoming completely separated! I struggled to maintain control of the vehicle while avoiding contact with other vehicles barely managing to get off the road. This tire was most likely defective and should not have failed. The vehicle was towed with the help of AAA to Mavis Discount tire who replaced the tires with a different brand. The seller and manufacturer customer service was god awful and didn't care. All four tires had to be replaced. NO warning indicators were present at any time. The cause of the catastrophic failure is unknown but like I said the tire appears to have been defective. There was no contact or damage prior to the failure. I have pictures of the failed tire.

CHEVROLET HAS BEGUN USING THE BACKUP LAMPS (REVERSE LIGHTS) TO ILLUMINATE THE AREA AROUND THE VEHICLE EVEN WHEN THE VEHICLE IS OFF AND NOT IN REVERSE GEAR; TYPICALLY WHEN THE DRIVER IS ACCESSING & EGRESSING THE VEHICLE, OR HAS ACTUATED THE DOOR LOCK REMOTE. THE RESULT IS A VEHICLE APPEARS TO BE REVERSING, OR ABOUT TO REVERSE, EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT CAPABLE OF MOVEMENT. APPROACHING VEHICLES ASSUME THE CHEVROLET IS ABOUT TO MOVE, YET ARE UNABLE TO VERIFY THE DRIVER CAN SEE THEM AND SO CAN'T PROCEED WITHOUT ESCALATING IMPACT RISK; THOSE WHO DO PASS WILL FOCUS ATTENTION ON THE POTENTIAL MOVEMENT OF THE CHEVROLET RATHER THAN SCANNING FOR GENERAL PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC.
