Price & value

We don't guess at prices. Get a real value for the exact truck from Kelley Blue Book, then see how the asking price compares.

Is it a good deal?

  1. Look up the truck on Kelley Blue Book. Choose its cab, trim, options, miles, condition and your ZIP code, and note the private party value (or the fair purchase price if you're buying from a dealer).
  2. Enter that value and the asking price below.
Check value on Kelley Blue Book ↗

Enter both numbers to see the deal rating.

The rating only compares the two numbers you enter: within 5% of the value is a good deal, 5–15% under is a great deal, and more than 15% under is a buy-it-now price. Know Your Truck isn't affiliated with Kelley Blue Book. Rust, accident history, lifts and mods, and service records all change what a truck is worth, so always get a pre-purchase inspection.

I am submitting this complaint regarding my 2015 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel 3.0L, VIN [XXX]. My vehicle previously received an EGR/emissions-related repair in XXX. The vehicle records also show emissions-related campaigns/repairs, including VB1, V08, and VA7. I am concerned that Ram/Stellantis is not honoring applicable EGR coverage associated with the class action lawsuit XXX v. FCA US LLC, Civil Action No.XXX, in the [XXX]. This case concerns alleged defects involving EGR coolers in 2014–2019 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel trucks. The court-approved settlement provides coverage relating to the EGR cooler issue. I contacted Ram/Stellantis and the dealership and requested that they review my VIN and the applicable recall and extended warranty information. I was told that the applicable coverage was not showing or was not being honored. I was also given manufacturer case number XXX. I am requesting that NHTSA review whether my VIN is covered by the applicable EGR recall, warranty extension, or court-approved settlement and whether my previous January 2023 EGR repair affects eligibility for later applicable coverage. On July 2nd, I was actively driving my 2015 Ram 1500 equipped with the 5.7L Hemi V8 gas engine. The vehicle is completely factory-stock with zero aftermarket electronics, wiring modifications, or accessories. While operating the truck, the dashboard instrument cluster suddenly began flickering wildly, indicating a severe voltage drop or electrical system failure. Immediately following the flickering, a catastrophic fire erupted inside the cabin, originating directly underneath the dashboard on the passenger's side. The fire department responded to extinguish the flames. The engine bay was unaffected by fluid leaks, and the fire originated strictly within the factory dashboard electrical wiring harness/modules. The vehicle is a total loss.

While driving on the highway with my entire family in the vehicle, truck lost power without warning and what it seems it went into a limp mode. This created an incredibly hazardous situation, exposing my family and the drivers around us to an imminent risk of a high-speed collision. Thankfully, nothing happened and no one was hurt. Upon restarting the vehicle, the check engine light illuminated, and power was drastically reduced, capping our speed at approximately 40 mph. I brought the truck to St Charles's dealership for diagnosis. Service department has informed me that the root cause of this catastrophic failure was the crankshaft tone wheel. Furthermore, I was informed that this specific issue was an unaddressed/unfixed defect on my vehicle by Stellantis. What I learned is that the fix for a broken tone wheel required dropping the transmission to physically press a brand-new tone wheel onto the crankshaft. Because this was incredibly expensive and time-consuming, Chrysler rolled out a recall remedy consisting of a Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software flash. This should be unacceptable for trucks that cost $70,000 or any vehicle. Imagine that software failed what would have happened and yet we had no idea about this.

Dear NHTSA, I am contacting you regarding an active service campaign for my vehicle involving the crankshaft position sensor and tone ring. I would like to arrange for this campaign to be completed as soon as possible. I was told by one dealership that my vin doesn't fall under this campaign. The Campaign is noted for the years of vehicle and my Truck stopped mid-drive in traffic abruptly. I feel this could have been a safety concern. When code ran and light on dash it says crank shaft position sensor. Vehicle Information: 2015/Ram 1500/EcoDiesel 3.0 VIN: [XXX] Current Mileage: 192446 I understand this service campaign addresses potential issues related to the crankshaft position sensor and tone ring, which may affect vehicle performance and reliability. I am requesting that the inspection and all applicable repairs or replacements associated with this campaign be performed at no cost as outlined by the manufacturer. Please contact me with the earliest available appointment date and any additional information or documentation needed prior to service. You may reach me at [XXX] or [XXX] Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. There is a recall for Ram 1500 manufactured between January 2015-September 2015 regarding failed power steering. My truck was manufactured February 2015 and was not on the list of specific Ram 1500s to have this recall done. I was with my kids getting an oil change on the truck. When I was leaving the maintenance bay my power steering suddenly failed and left us stranded to get towed. Chrysler stated that there was certain conditions that led for certain models to have recalls for this part, but not my truck. They could not give me a clear reason why mine was not included on the list.

There is a known issue about exhaust manifolds for my year model truck. A ram technician said in 2019 mopar created a new exhaust manifold for my truck that would be less likely to create soot buildup and warping in the exhaust manifold. In 2021 my EGR was replaced because of a recall but now my exhaust manifold has failed and needs to be replaced out of pocket even though it’s been a known issue and there was a remedy already made to alleviate the issue. Now because of soot buildup my throttle is limited until I have it fixed. But driving to a dealership is too far to be diagnosed as there has been cases of fires occurring when this issue occurs.

Stellantis has a recall for Loss of Crankshaft Position, Reference: 66A / NHTSA 23V-411. They did not include my truck in the recall but I have the exact same problem as verified by the dealer. The Recall Center will not answer the phone and reports errors when I call. The warranty center will not deal with this as it's a recall issue. The cost to repair all the parts is $8,745.75 without any coverage or recall support. The recall remedy was to flash the computer which would be a minimal cost but the dealer cannot do this unless my vehicle is added to the recall. The vehicle is in "limp mode" and is not safe for use while this issue persists. The problem became evident while starting the vehicle in the driveway.

While driving at approximately 50 mph, my truck suddenly shut off without warning. I lost engine power, power brakes, and power steering. I was only able to stop safely because I happened to be traveling uphill. This created a serious safety hazard. The failure was caused by the crankshaft tone ring issue addressed in the existing recall. The tone ring has already been replaced, but the recall requires a dealer-performed ECM software update to complete the repair and ensure the vehicle is safe to operate. The dealership is refusing to perform the recall software update because my truck has an aftermarket exhaust and a modified EGR valve. These modifications are unrelated to the recall. The recall only involves an ECM software update, and my ECM is completely stock. Because of this refusal, I cannot safely drive my truck. I am concerned that the engine may shut off again at higher speeds, creating a severe risk of an accident. I am requesting assistance to ensure the recall is completed so the vehicle can be operated safely.

I am submitting this complaint to report a serious safety defect involving a high-pressure fuel system failure that occurred shortly after recall service was performed by an authorized dealership. The failure created a significant risk of engine compartment fire and potential loss of vehicle control. On March 25, 2025, my vehicle underwent recall service at Hall Ram Dealership for replacement of the high-pressure fuel pump. This repair required removal and reinstallation of the high-pressure fuel supply lines. These lines are torque-to-yield, single-use components that must be replaced once removed to ensure proper sealing under high operating pressures. On April 7, 2025, while driving at highway speed, the high-pressure fuel line connected to the pump suddenly ruptured. This resulted in an uncontrolled release of fuel into the engine compartment, creating an immediate safety hazard. Atomized fuel was exposed to high-temperature engine components, significantly increasing the risk of ignition and fire. The failure also posed a risk of sudden engine power loss. The vehicle required emergency towing. A review of the March 25 service invoice shows no documentation that the high-pressure fuel lines were replaced. This strongly suggests the original single-use lines were reused, contrary to OEM standards and accepted repair procedures. Reuse of these components can lead to sealing failure, fatigue, and rupture under pressure. This incident raises concerns regarding compliance with federal safety regulations, including 49 U.S.C. Chapter 301 and FMVSS No. 301 governing fuel system integrity. A fuel line rupture under normal operating conditions indicates a critical safety defect and possible improper execution of a recall remedy. I request that NHTSA investigate whether authorized repair facilities are properly following required procedures during recall repairs, including replacement of single-use fuel system components.

After few hours of research I found a part number to order replacement fuel filter required for use from Recall 22v-406. After passed onto by FCA and reaching out to Mopar who passed me onto local dealer and research on various forums I found a part number 68632011AA for the fuel filter so I thought. I contacted dealer and was told no filter is available and no date when it will be available, so back to research to find part number CSSMZ462AA-001 in the recall listed, I tried to order online but was told to contact local dealer and they confirmed the number good and placed order. I received the part today to find filter and housing cap. the filter resembles previous filters used but does not have any MOPAR stamp on it says made in China but box is labeled MOPAR and says made in Korea. the date on box is 12/15/2023. Is an aftermarket filter being packaged as OEM filter for a recall?

I was taking my family out to dinner when all of a sudden I kept hearing a rattle and something smacking on the bottom of my truck. I had people flashing their lights at me, so I pulled over into the nearest gas station and got underneath. To my surprise, the fuel tank was halfway hanging with the front strap. I looked where it goes and it's all corroded on the frame. I ratchet strapped it up in the meantime and turned back around and carefully drove home. I'm not sure how to go about my safety being at risk, I just know that a fuel tank falling/getting damaged because the OEM bracket strap on the frame corroding out is not something to take ever so lightly. Who knows what could of happened. The problem I guess is a big issue with 4th Gen RAM's all over the internet, so bad to the point that it went from a 3 year extended warranty until it was changed to a 12 year unlimited mile fix for a salt state such as where I'm located (MI). I have not had it inspected, due to if I have to drive on it, it's either going to get fixed or is already fixed. There were also no lights or indications besides hearing the noise and getting underneath for an inspection.

The ABS, Traction Control, & Trailer Braking system no longer function. The vehicle is still drivable, technically unsafely. Warning lights for these system on all the time. I took vehicle to my local repair shop and was told the ABS Controller Module has failed (code C2200-49 indicating an internal electronic failure within the controller). As of this date replacement and remanufactured modules are not available. This is not just an issue with 2015 Ram trucks but extends to other Ram model years using the same part number. This is a huge safety issue that should be addressed through a recall. It is a travesty that Ram would not maintain adequate supplies of essential safety-related repair parts for a vehicle that is only 10 years old. Subject: Request for Investigation of ABS Module Failure and Part Unavailability To Whom It May Concern, I am requesting that NHTSA investigate a potential safety issue involving the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module, Part Number 68228991AD. The ABS module in my vehicle has failed, causing the ABS and cruise control systems to stop functioning. In addition, the ABS, check engine, and brake warning lights remain illuminated at all times. As a result, the vehicle no longer has anti-lock braking capability, which increases the risk of skidding and loss of control during emergency braking or adverse road conditions. My primary concern is that this safety-critical part appears to be discontinued or otherwise unavailable. I have spent more than three years attempting to locate a replacement through dealerships, parts suppliers, salvage yards, and online sources without success. Because the required part cannot be obtained, owners are left driving vehicles with a disabled ABS system for extended periods. This creates an ongoing safety risk for drivers, passengers, and others on the road. A critical safety system should be repairable when it fails. This issue has also created a significant financial burden. The constant warning lights and inoperable safety features substantially reduce the value of the vehicle and make it difficult to sell or trade. Few buyers would be willing to purchase a vehicle with persistent ABS, brake, and check engine warnings that cannot be repaired due to the lack of available parts. I respectfully request that NHTSA investigate the frequency of failures involving ABS Module Part Number 68228991AD, the availability of replacement parts, and whether manufacturer action, including a recall or extended support program, is warranted. Thank you for your consideration and commitment to vehicle safety.

The ABS module failed in June of 2025. Ram originally told me the part was on back order 6-8 months. In December they said there were 100 ABS modules on order for our area. In January 2026 they informed the mechanic that is doing the work that there is still parts on back order and it could be another 1-2 months. Today 2/25/26 the mechanic was told there are 265 modules on back order and it can be another 2-3 months. The truck now has a throttle body control issue that is stemming from the ABS issue. The truck is not operable at the moment because of this back order. I have been waiting for 7 months for this part and there are no alternatives on the market. If Ram does not get a part available for me I will either have to find a used one that hopefully isn't going to fail or be out of a $50,000 truck. This is a problem that many people have had according to all of the RAM forums. RAM needs to find a solution because the consumer already paid for the vehicle so parts should be available.

The side curtain airbag inflator in our 2015 Ram 1500 Rebel spontaneously exploded without any impact, warning, or deployment command. The inflator violently ruptured inside the headliner, ejecting high‑velocity metal fragments and debris throughout the cabin. The blast destroyed the side curtain airbag system and caused severe interior damage. The explosion was forceful enough that we initially believed the vehicle had been vandalized. After removing the headliner, our upholstery technician identified the source as the airbag curtain inflator, which had ruptured internally. He immediately stopped work due to the extreme safety hazard, liability concerns, and the clear presence of a catastrophic component failure. This failure created a life‑threatening shrapnel hazard inside the passenger compartment. Had this occurred while driving—especially at highway speeds—the sudden detonation, debris, and loss of side‑impact protection could have caused loss of vehicle control, severe injury, or fatal collision. The vehicle now has zero functional side airbag protection and cannot be safely operated. There were no warning lights, no airbag indicators, and no prior symptoms before the inflator ruptured. We contacted both the manufacturer (Stellantis/FCA) and our local Ram dealership. Both refused to inspect or repair the vehicle, stating that our VIN is not currently listed under an active recall. However, this model year does have an existing side curtain airbag inflator recall, and the failure mode we experienced is identical to the known defect involving explosive inflator rupture and shrapnel ejection. The manufacturer is currently refusing communication and has declined to evaluate the vehicle despite the severity of the safety defect. This incident demonstrates a critical and dangerous failure of the airbag inflator system that may affect additional Ram 1500 Rebel vehicles of the same model year. We request NHTSA investigation, and expansion of the recall.

Component or system that failed or malfunctioned: The vehicle’s airbag restraint system failed to deploy during a severe single-vehicle crash. This includes the front airbags and any associated crash sensors. The vehicle is currently available for inspection upon request. How safety was put at risk: The failure of the airbag system significantly increased the risk of serious injury. Due to the airbags not deploying during a high-impact collision with a fixed object (tree), the driver sustained a serious head injury. Proper airbag deployment could have reduced or prevented the severity of the injury. Confirmation or reproduction of the problem: At this time, the issue has not yet been reproduced or formally confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Investigation is pending. Vehicle or component inspection: The accident has been documented by law enforcement and insurance representatives. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the manufacturer, but is available for inspection. Insurance evaluation is in progress. Warning lamps, messages, or prior symptoms: There were no warning lights, messages, or symptoms indicating an airbag or restraint system malfunction prior to the accident. No airbag warning indicators were illuminated before the crash. If applicable: UNKNOWN whether any fault codes were present prior to the accident. Description of incident: The crash occurred at night in heavy fog conditions. While traveling around a curve, the driver encountered an oncoming vehicle in the opposite lane and took evasive action to avoid a collision. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. The impact caused significant damage to the entire vehicle. Despite the severity of the collision, no airbags deployed. The driver sustained a serious head injury that may have been mitigated had the airbag system functioned as designed.

Dealership held vehicle for approximately 2.5 months for major service totaling nearly $6,900 (primarily covered by extended warranty with ~$1,000 paid out-of-pocket). Upon return, the vehicle failed to function properly and was released in a dangerously compromised, life-threatening condition—specifically with a brake line left completely disconnected from the caliper, loose/wiggling, and actively leaking brake fluid. Vehicle had to be towed to an independent facility (John Kent Auto + Truck Repair), where I paid $215 to diagnose and rectify safety issues caused/missed by Tate Dodge. This hazardous mechanical failure occurred while driving the vehicle with my family on board. I took vehicle to my local repair shop and was told the ABS Controller Module has failed (code C2200-49 indicating an internal electronic failure within the controller). I was quoted a replacement cost of $1579 + tax. I was also told the part, 68228991AD is on indefinite backorder. I have tried to locate the part on my own and there is in fact a nationwide backorder. At this point I have no recourse except to drive the truck in this condition. I am unable to sell the vehicle due to this situation.

I am writing to request urgent assistance regarding a serious safety and service issue with my 2015 Dodge Ram, which has only 45,000 original miles. I recently took the vehicle to an authorized Dodge dealership after multiple dashboard alerts appeared, including: ABS Light On, Brake Light On, “Service Trailer Light,” “Service Antilock Brake System”, Service Electronic Braking”, “Service Trailer Brake System” The dealership diagnosed the problem as a faulty ABS Module. I was informed that the part would cost approximately $1,400, plus the cost of ordering the part, and that the part may take up to four (4) years or more to arrive—if it ever becomes available at all. I contacted multiple Dodge dealerships and received the same response regarding the extreme delay and unavailability of the ABS Module. I was also told that the vehicle is unsafe to drive in its current condition. This is especially concerning, as this is my only vehicle, and I cannot use it due to the safety risks. Despite this, Dodge customer service informed me that no assistance can be provided unless I first pay for and order the part, even though the part may not arrive for years. Additionally, the dealership is unwilling to buy back the vehicle at a reasonable price due to the unresolved ABS issue, leaving me without a safe, drivable vehicle and without support or alternatives. I have confirmed that there is no recall listed for this issue, yet the ABS Module is a critical safety component, and the lack of part availability for years is unacceptable for a loyal customer who has maintained the vehicle properly and driven it minimally. I am respectfully requesting that Dodge Corporate provide A clear explanation for the extreme parts delay, A prompt solution—such as expedited part sourcing, coverage or assistance with repairs, or a reasonable buyback/exchange option, Guidance on how Dodge intends to support customers facing major safety issues caused by unavailable parts.

The ABS went out on my truck 3 years ago and Ram/Mopar quit making the part. I am stuck with a $50,000 rock because their part has first been on back order and now no longer manufactured. My truck was 7 years old when this started. I cannot afford to go buy a new truck! I could find a used one and maybe get it flashed but people are charging $800 for a used part and no guarantee that it can be flashed to work in my truck, because Ram decided to make everything proprietary. I really don’t trust the rebuilt ones from China. This is a really bad situation and really should be illegal. I have read online many people that are having the same issue as myself. Thank you for your attention to this matter. [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The ABS, traction control and emergency brake light all turned came up on the dashboard. I believe a past recall May 16, 2018 was of a wiring issue effecting the cruise control. Since all three lights have came on, the cruise control feature is not available for use. This is a concern within the Ram community and needs to be addressed.

VIBRATION AT HIGHWAY SPEED. COMPLAINED TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AND WAS IGNORED. I AM A MECHANIC WITH 35+ YEARS EXPERIENCE. I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT THE PROBLEM IS IN THE DRIVELINE AND NOT IN THE WHEELS/TIRES. THE VIBRATION CAUSES THE TRUCK TO EAT THE TIRES. I AM UNDER 65,000 MILES AND ON THE FIFTH SET OF TIRES. FOUR DIFFERENT BRANDS OF TIRES. I'VE SEEN NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ON THIS ISSUE. I DISCUSSED A TSB WITH THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS IGNORED AGAIN. AFTER HAVING MY TRANSMISSION REPAIRED AT THE DEALERSHIP UNDER WARRANTY, THE VIBRATION HAS GOTTEN WORSE. I AM REASONABLY CERTAIN THE VIBRATION CAUSES THE TRANSMISSION PROBLEM THAT I RECENTLY HAD TO HAVE REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY.

' THE TRUCK WAS RETURNED 9/20/2019 WITH THE DIPSTICK SITTING OUT UNDER THE HOOD, THE ENGINE COVER NOT ON, WITH A SCRATCH ON THE LEFT FENDER, SCRATCHES ON EACH SIDE OF THE BUMPER, WRONG TIRES AND RIMS, MY RIGHT FRONT LIGHT AND BLINKER ARE NOT WORKING, AND MY TRUCK HAS GREASY HAND PRINTS ALL OVER IT. TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM, I WOULD LIKE YOU TO REFUND THE $306.04 FOR THE COOLANT FLUSH(DONE), REPAIR THE SCRATCHES ON THE BUMPER AND FENDER,FIX THE HEADLIGHT AND RETURN MY ORIGINAL TIRES AND RIMS. WHEN I FIRST LEARNED OF THIS PROBLEM, I CONTACTED CHRIS DOOLEY AT BOERNE DODGE 9/21/2019, AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY WOULD REFUND $306.04, REPAIR THE SCRATCHES AND HEADLIGHT(BOERNE SAYS THESE ARE COMPLETE). I BELIEVE THAT THIS RESPONSE IS UNFAIR BECAUSE I NEED MY CORRECT TIRES.. I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE FROM BOERNE DODGE ON 5/17/2019 SO THEY SHOULD HAVE RECORDS OF THE TIRES THAT WERE ON THE TRUCK. MY VEHICLE CHECKUP REPORT FROM BOERNE DODGE ON 8/8/2019 SAYS MY TIRES WHERE AT 8/32 AND I HAD A COURTESY TIRE CHECK FROM FIRESTONE SHOWING THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE IS 6/32, LEFT FRONT IS 4/32 AND THE REAR TIRES ARE AT 11/32 (BRAND NEW). FIRESTONE STATED THAT IN LESS THAN 1,000 MILES THERE IS NO WAY MY TIRES WENT FROM 8/32 TO 6/32 LET ALONE 4/32. ALSO, WOULD ONE OF YOUR USED TRUCKS BE SOLD WITH TIRE TREADS THAT DIFFERENT? THE DIFFERENCE IN THESE TREADS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE'S DIFFERENTIALS AND/OR VISCOUS COUPLINGS. FIRESTONE ALSO SAID THAT THE BRAKE DUST ON THE FRONT TIRES WOULD NOT HAVE OCCURRED WHEN THE ENGINE WAS BEING REPLACED WHICH IAS STATE BY THE MANAGER OF YOUR SERVICE DEPARTMENT ON 9/23/2019 WHEN I WENT TO ADDRESS THE ISSUES ABOVE. I HAVE ALSO SPOKEN TO ANOTHER CHRYSLER DEALER AND THEY SAID THE TWO FRONT TIRES ARE REMOVED WHEN AN ENGINE IS REPLACED. AT THE TIME OF MY TRUCKS REPAIR THERE WERE 3 OTHER TRUCKS WITH THE SAME ISSUE. I AM SURE MY TIRES AND ANOTHER TRUCKS WERE SWITCHED.

ON MAY 29,2018. I REARENDED A SEMI TRUCK. I HAD MY FOOT ON THE BRAKE PRESSED TO THE FLOOR BUT VEHICLE WOULD NOT COME TO A COMPLETE STOP. WHEN TOWED TO COLLISION CENTER I ADDRESSED MY CONCERNS TO THEM THAT I FELT MY VEHICLE WAS DEFECTIVE DUE TO THE TRUCK MAINTAINING SPEED WHILE I WAS APPLYING BRAKES. THEY PLUGGED IT INTO SCAN TOOL AND FOUR DEFAULT CODES CAME UP. (ABS,AIRBAG,POWER STEERING,DOOR MODULE)I THEN PROCEEDED TO OPEN A CLAIM WITH DAIMLER CHRYSLER. WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE MAIN CONCERN THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INVESTIGATED WAS WHY DEFAULT CODES CAME UP & TRUCK WAS NOT STOPPING TO AVOID COLLISION. DAIMLER CHRYSLER ASSURED ME THERE THIRD PARTY INVESTIGATOR WOULD INVESTIGATE ALL THE ISSUES (ALL DEFAULT CODES). THEY WHERE SENT OUT, PLUGGED TRUCK INTO SCAN TOOL AND TOOK PICTURES. THIRD PARTY SENT MY HUSBAND & I A COPY OF WHAT THE CRASH TEST DATA WAS.BEEN CALLING THEM FOR ANSWERS SINCE MY TRUCK HAS BEEN SITTING FOR MONTH & A HALF UNTOUCHED. TO FIND OUT THAT THEY ONLY INVESTIGATED AIR BAG ISSUE & NOT OTHER VERY SERIOUS MECHANICAL SAFETY ISSUES. CLEARLY DOCUMENTED IN CRASH TEST DATA, FROM MY VEHICLE, STATES POSITIVE TORQUE TO MOTOR WITH PEDAL PRESSURE OF ACCELERATOR READING AT 0% & WHILE BRAKES WHERE BEING APPLIED. I HAVE DOCUMENTS TO PROVE MY STATEMENTS. ALSO AT TIME OF ACCIDENT MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE CURRENT RECALL OF CRUISE CONTROL. ON JUNE 14TH ,2018 MY HUSBAND CHECKED OUR VIN AGAIN & IT IS NOW INCLUDED IN CURRENT RECALL. AT THE TIME OF ACCIDENT MY CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT ENGAGED. BUT THE RECALL IS DUE TO THE POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE OR ENGINE CONTROL MODULE NOT REMOVING POSITIVE TORQUE REQUESTS FROM THE CAN-B. IF CAN-B STOPS COMMUNICATING WITH THE ECM OR PCM. ALSO ALL OTHER DEFAULT CODES SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED LIKE THE POWER STEERING THAT PULLED TO ONE SIDE WHILE I WAS BRAKING. THEIR ARE TO MANY ISSUES WITH MY VEHICLE THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT & ARE HIDING. *BF *TR

TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY IN WINTER CONDITIONS THE TRUCKS ANTI-LOCK/ABS/TRACTION CONTROL /4X4 AND CRUISE CONTROL ALL STOPPED WORKING AND THE DASH WARNING LIGHTS STARTED FLASHING. AT 65 MPH WHILE ACCELERATING WITH TRAFFIC UP HILL ON A CORNER ON WINTERY ROADS THE 4 WHEEL DRIVE JUST STOPPED WORKING AND THE TRACTION CONTROL WAS LOST. THE TRUCK WENT INTO SEVERAL 360 DEGREE SPINS AND CAM TO A STOP ON THE FAR RIGHT SHOULDER. NO OTHER VEHICLES WERE STRUCK AND I WAS ABLE TO AVOID THE BRIDGE ABUTMENT. AFTER TAKING THE VEHICLE TO LITHIA DODGE OF WASILLA I WAS TOLD THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED (48,100 MILES AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT) BUT THE DEALER COULD NOT GET THE TRUCK IN FOR OVER A WEEK. AFTER THE DEALER LOOKED AT THE TRUCK THEY REPLACED THE R-REAR SPEED SENSOR AND SAID THAT WAS THE ISSUE. I WENT TO PICK UP THE TRUCK AND THE ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED. I LEFT THE TRUCK AGAIN AT THE DEALER. THEY THEN INDICATED THE ISSUE WAS IN THE WIRING HARNESS. I TOOK THE TRUCK HOME TO INSPECT THE WIRING. I TESTED THE CONTINUITY OF THE CONDUCTORS THAT THE DEALER HAD INDICATED WERE THE ISSUE AND FOUND NO DEFECTS. I TOOK THE TRUCK BACK AND EXPLAINED MY FINDINGS, THEY INDICATED THAT THE TECH HAD "GUESSED" THAT THE ISSUE WAS THE HARNESS. AFTER RETURNING TO GET MY TRUCK THE DEALER SAID IT WAS REPAIRED, THEY HAD PERFORMED UNAUTHORIZED WORK, CUT MY HARNESS AND SPLICED AS THEY SAID THAT WAS THE ISSUE, BUT THE ISSUE WAS NOT FIXED. I TOOK THE TRUCK TO ANOTHER LITHIA DEALER WHO INDICATED THE HARNESS WAS DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR BY THE DEALER, YOU CANT SPLICE THE HARNESS(?) ACCORDING TO THE OTHER DEALER AND IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED IN WHOLE. THEY COULD NOT WORK ON IT ANY MORE TO FIX THE ISSUE DUE TO THE HARNESS ISSUE CAUSED BY THE UNAUTHORIZED REPAIR PERFORMED BY THE OTHER LITHIA DEALER. TRUCK STILL HAS NO 4X4, ABS, TRACTION CONTROL OR CRUISE CONTROL. THIS FAILURECOULD BE A SEVERE SAFETY ISSUE AND RESULT IN ACCIDENTS.

Dear Sir or Madame, The purpose of the communication calls into question New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Interstate commerce, The Public Safety and US Constitutional Law. On 3/31/2023, [XXX](me) was traveling on New Jersey Turnpike. Tickets are issued at the entrance terminal (for CASH commerce) and drivers pay tollbooth attendants at exits by either CASH or EZ PASS (transponders). At Exit 2, on New Jersey Turnpike, a Tollbooth Attendant was absent, 3/31/2023 at 0434. The fee from the entrance terminal, on the New Jersey Turnpike, to exit 2, on the New Jersey Turnpike, is $2.05. I stopped and waited for tollbooth attendant at exit 2 on NJTP. I proceeded on route for my own safety and that of my own property, including a newly-purchased light utility vehicle registered in a different state other than NJ, assuming the obstruction was construction because safety cones diverted traffic in one of the 2 outgoing lanes (the EZ PASS lane, not the CASH lane). I received letter from New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTPA) headed FINAL NOTICE OF ENFORCEMENT ACTION on 5/25/2023 for $82.50. Parallel construction is a law enforcement process of building a parallel, or separate, evidentiary basis for a criminal investigation in order to conceal how an investigation actually began. In the US, a particular form is called evidence laundering, where one police officer (or NJTPA) obtains evidence via means that are in violation of the Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable searches and seizures, and then passes it on to another officer or agency, who builds on it and gets it accepted by other courts under good-faith exceptions as applied by the second officer, or agency in question. Exhausting evidence laundering gained momentum in the Supreme Court: 2009 ([XXX] v. United States).
