Recalls and owner complaints reported to NHTSA
Price & value
We don't guess at prices. Get a real value for the exact truck from Kelley Blue Book, then see how the asking price compares.
Is it a good deal?
- Look up the truck on Kelley Blue Book. Choose its cab, trim, options, miles, condition and your ZIP code, and note the private party value (or the fair purchase price if you're buying from a dealer).
- Enter that value and the asking price below.
Enter both numbers to see the deal rating.
The rating only compares the two numbers you enter: within 5% of the value is a good deal, 5–15% under is a great deal, and more than 15% under is a buy-it-now price. Know Your Truck isn't affiliated with Kelley Blue Book. Rust, accident history, lifts and mods, and service records all change what a truck is worth, so always get a pre-purchase inspection.
Owner's manual
Get the free official owner's manual from Honda's owner's guides page. Choose 2013 Ridgeline. It covers maintenance schedules, fluids, towing limits and warning lights. Older years may not be listed online.
Recalls
A recall doesn't mean a truck still has the problem. Enter the truck's VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls or ask a dealer to see whether the repair was done.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2006-2014 Ridgeline vehicles that were sold, or ever registered in Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington D.C., and Wisconsin. An accumulation of road salt may cause the frame mounting surface, where the fuel tank mounting bands are attached, to corrode and possibly detach the fuel tank, which can result in a fuel leak.
Risk: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the rear frame, as necessary, free of charge. Depending on the extent of any corrosion damage, Honda may offer to repurchase the vehicle. Owner notification letters were mailed August 9, 2022. Owners may contact Honda customer service at [phone removed]. Honda's number for this recall is LCD.

I took this vehicle to the local Honda dealership in Sioux Falls Sd in 2015 or 2016 and waited (approximately 4 + hours) while they stated they repaired the faulty airbags according to the recall - but since that time I keep receiving these notices so now I don’t know if the Honda dealership didn’t actually repair the passenger airbag or didn’t file the repair

I WAS STOPPED IN A LEFT TURN LANE BEHIND ANOTHER CAR. A THIRD CAR CAME FROM BEHIND AT APPROXIMATELY 40 MPH AND HIT MY CAR FROM BEHIND, PUSHING IT VIOLENTLY INTO THE CAR AHEAD OF ME. MY DRIVER SIDE AIRBAG DID NOT ACTIVATE ON IMPACT. I SUFFERED FACIAL AND ARM INJURIES FROM STRIKING THE STEERING WHEEL. I WAS WEARING SEAT BELT AND SHOULDER RESTRAINT. WHEN STARTING IN MOTION AFTER A STOP FOR A TRAFFIC SIGNAL, OR MAKING A SLOW TURN THE POWER FROM THE ENGINE STOPS. I AM A LEFT FOOT BRAKE, TOUCHING THE BRAKE PEDAL TO CONTROL SPEED IN TRAFFIC TO AVOID A STOP AND GO REAR END COLLISION SITUATION FOLLOWING OTHER CARS, THE ENGINE POWER STOPS. PRESSING ON THE GAS PEDAL TO INCREASE POWER DOES NOT WORK, BUT HAVING PRESSED THE GAS PEDAL AND REMOVING MY FOOT FROM THE BRAKE PEDAL CAUSES RAPID ACCELERATION. OFTEN MAKING A LEFT TURN INTO A DRIVE I WILL TOUCH THE BRAKE TO CONTROL THE TRANSITION SPEED FROM THE STREET TO ENTRANCE DRIVE OF A SHOPPING CENTER. THE LOSS OF POWER LEAVES ME IN A POSITION OF BEING HIT BY TRAFFIC IN THE TRAVEL LANE. PLEASE DO NOT SAY LEFT FOOT BRAKING IS DANGEROUS, A QUICK SEARCH WILL SHOW THAT RIGHT FOOT BRAKE MISTAKE THE GAS FOR THE BRAKE FAR MORE OFTEN THAN A LEFT FOOT BRAKE WILL MISTAKE THE CLUTCH PEDAL FOR THE BRAKE. I HAVE BEEN TOLERATING THIS SITUATION SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE.
