Price & value
We don't guess at prices. Get a real value for the exact truck from Kelley Blue Book, then see how the asking price compares.
Is it a good deal?
- Look up the truck on Kelley Blue Book. Choose its cab, trim, options, miles, condition and your ZIP code, and note the private party value (or the fair purchase price if you're buying from a dealer).
- Enter that value and the asking price below.
Enter both numbers to see the deal rating.
The rating only compares the two numbers you enter: within 5% of the value is a good deal, 5–15% under is a great deal, and more than 15% under is a buy-it-now price. Know Your Truck isn't affiliated with Kelley Blue Book. Rust, accident history, lifts and mods, and service records all change what a truck is worth, so always get a pre-purchase inspection.

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2025 Altima, Sentra, 2025-2026 Frontier, and 2026 Kicks vehicles. The door strikers may have been improperly welded and break, allowing the door to open while moving. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 206, "Door Locks and Door Retention Components."
Risk: A door that opens unexpectedly while the vehicle is in motion increases the risk of injury or a crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the door strikers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 17, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at [phone removed]. Nissan's numbers for this recall are PD185 and PMA61. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 28, 2026.

While driving my 2026 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X at highway speeds, the vehicle intermittently loses the ability to accelerate. The engine remains running, but pressing the accelerator produces no increase in vehicle speed or engine RPM. No warning lights or diagnostic messages appear when the condition occurs. This creates a significant safety risk because the vehicle cannot maintain or increase speed in traffic. The vehicle has been taken to an authorized Nissan dealer on three separate occasions. The dealer was able to reproduce the condition but has not identified a cause or implemented a repair. The defect remains unresolved and continues to present a safety concern.

I own a new 2026 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X equipped with the original Hankook Dynapro AT2 tires. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, I began experiencing a noticeable vibration at highway speeds, primarily between approximately 70 and 78 mph. The vibration is most noticeable around 72-74 mph and can be felt through the vehicle, particularly through the seat. I brought the vehicle to a Nissan dealership for diagnosis. The dealer determined that one of the tires had an issue they described as a broken or defective internal belt. During road-force balancing, the affected tire measured approximately 41 lbs of road force, which is significantly higher than expected. The tire was still relatively new and was original equipment on the vehicle. I contacted the tire manufacturer regarding warranty replacement, but Hankook would not authorize replacement without the tire first being removed and returned for inspection. I was told I would need to purchase a replacement tire myself and then potentially seek reimbursement after Hankook inspected the defective tire. My concern is that an internal belt defect in a nearly new original-equipment tire could present a safety risk, particularly because the problem becomes apparent at normal interstate highway speeds. The vehicle has not been involved in an accident or impact that would reasonably explain this type of internal tire damage. I am submitting this complaint so NHTSA is aware of the potential tire defect in case similar failures are occurring on other vehicles equipped with these tires.

Aftermarket vehicle equipment (Rough Country Hard Tri-Fold Flip Up Bed Cover, SKU: 49520551A) suffered a catastrophic structural hardware failure while traveling at highway speeds (approx. 70 MPH) on the interstate. Both the primary latching clamps and the factory-installed secondary safety retention straps failed simultaneously under standard operating conditions. The entire cover detached from the vehicle and launched into the roadway, creating an immediate, severe collision hazard for trailing motorists. Physical inspection of the truck bed afterwards revealed the mounting rails remained securely attached to the truck, but the integrated screw-handle anchoring hardware on the cover itself had completely failed and sheared off.

The contact owns a 2026 Nissan Frontier. The contact stated that the vehicle was towed to a dealer due to ongoing electrical issues. Prior to towing the vehicle, the radio failed to turn off, and the engine failed to shut off while attempting to turn off the vehicle. Upon inspection, the dealer diagnosed the vehicle with battery failure. The dealer attempted to disable the radio, rearview camera, side-mirror warning signals, and advanced safety systems to prevent the battery drain; however, the software did not provide the option to turn off the features selectively. The dealer turned off the display screen as the fix. The contact had experienced an electrical failure with another similar vehicle. The manufacturer replaced the first Nissan Frontier vehicle with the current vehicle, and the central display and safety features were now disabled by the dealer as a temporary repair. The vehicle was towed to the dealer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,700.

I went into the Nissan dealer with my Nissan Pro4x with 900 miles on with a lowspeed "thunking" sound coming from the rear end. On the highway the truck vibrates really bad at about 60-65 mph. The dealer (NUCAR Nissan of Allentown, Pa [phone removed], service writer Simone) inspected the vehicle and "road force balanced" the rear tires. Both rear tires were found to be bad.....900 miles on the vehicle! The dealer (Simone) claims they do not warranty tires, "Call Hankook", they told me. I called Hankook they provided me a reference number #[XXX] and told me they only deal with the dealer service department. I went back to NUCAR Nissan of Allentown, Pa. They (Simone) again told me they can't help me with warranty tires?!! This is an unsafe condition. I have not been driving the vehicle, except for short trips around town, because I'm afraid this condition will result in a tire failure just like the Firestone tire failures of the late 90's early 2000's. I have a copy of the dealers service report if you need it. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

While driving North on I79 in dayligh I attempted to engage adaptive cruse control. The indicator lights on the dashboard were too dim to be visible and I was unable to tell if cruise control was on or determine what the speed setting was. After successfully engaging the control using buttons on the steering wheel the truck began accellerating strongly. I was unable to tell what the speed setting was but it must have been in excess of 80 mph as I had to turn the control off at that point. I returned truck to dealer and was told that lack of brightness for this indicator (and several others, such as turn signal indicators) was a design issue and could not be repaired by the dealer. I have tried every remidy I could find, even had the dealer's sales person take pictures of the dash while driving to verify the issue.
